Brianna Cunningham, Associate Director
Brianna Cunningham is a current Music Major at the University of West Georgia. She is an Ingram Scholar, Hope Scholar, and has consistently been on the Dean’s List. She an award for having the highest music GPA in Spring of 2018. While at West Georgia she has performed with the Wind Ensemble, Woodwind Ensemble, Symphonic Band, Marching Band, Jazz Band, and Concert Choir. While in the marching band, she served as drum major of the marching band for the 2017 season. In Spring of 2018, she conducted the Wind Ensemble at the “Large Group Performance Experience” concert, where she was judged by 10 band directors around the state of Georgia.
Brianna’s primary instrument is clarinet. She consistently made District Honor band in high school from 8th grade-12th grade and made All-State once in high school while playing bass clarinet. She currently teaches soprano clarinet, bass clarinet, and piano in the Douglas County area. She is an aspiring music educator who has a passion for conducting and seeing kids thrive in their musical experiences. At New Manchester, Brianna works one on one with the drum major, she helps with marching technique/visuals, and she helps with woodwind sound production in the band. |
