Kevin Scales is a dedicated music educator with eight years of experience. Throughout his career, he has taught music and band in Clayton, DeKalb, and Rockdale counties, leaving a lasting impact on students and fostering a love and appreciation for music.

With a strong educational background, Kevin earned a Bachelor's degree in Music Education from Georgia Southern University. He furthered his education at Youngstown State University, obtaining a Master's degree in Music Performing with a focus on Instrumental Conducting. Seeking to expand his expertise, he pursued studies in Educational Leadership at the University of West Georgia.

Currently, Kevin serves as an assistant principal in Newton County Public Schools, where he continues to make a positive impact on students' lives and contribute to the growth and development of the educational community. With his experience as both an educator and a musician, he brings a wealth of knowledge and passion to his role.
