As kids, we're naturally curious; seeking to understand everything around us. As adults, some of us lose that. For me, it's all about imagination and understanding my creative self. Understanding every tool I pick up to create and study. Understanding what can be given back to the world around us through the Art of Imagination. Art is not just something beautiful to look at, but a vehicle that can give even the busiest brain a sense of calm and peace even for one brief moment. We all need that one brief moment. Sometimes we get into the routine of our 9-5 never expressing ourselves; never even dreaming. I like to dream. I want to see how far my imagination will take me with every piece. Through my use of colors, inks, and different perspectives, I've found a way to ease my mind and dream. Each piece may be part of a series, but has to tell it's own story. With great details, one illustration may inspire the dreams of a kid, and recapture the imagination of an adult. A vivid imagination can help save you from the perils of life that await you on this journey. If your imagination starts to wonder, or you get a sense of peace viewing my work, I've accomplished my mission. |
